There are lots of blogs earning money from blogging today. Lots of peoples are starting a new blog everyday with the intention of making money from their blog. But very few of them get success.

Some peoples think they are just going to create a new blog and start writing content for their new blog. Then they will soon see money in their account.

But it not as easy as they think. To start making money from a new blog need lots of passion and strategy with hard work. Also to make money from a new blog, it needs time. Many newbies are eager to know how long is that time period when the blog starts generating profit.

Well, here in this article, I am not going to consider a blog making $100 or $200. Here I consider a blog when it generates revenue of at least $1000 a month as a money-making blog.

So how much time it takes to start making money from a new blog? Well, it depends on what blogging model you take. If you take the wrong one, it may take several years to start making money from your blog.

Most of the bloggers fail to make money from their blog because they are using the wrong blogging strategy. Selecting the right blogging strategy will let you make money from your new blog just within 10 to 12 months. But with the wrong strategy, it can take 3 – 4 years to start making money from your blog. Even it can lead you towards failure.

One thing you should always remember that you need to get traffic on your blog. A blogging website’s earning is directly proportional to the amount of traffic that the blog received. And one thing you need is to collect the audience or readers by writing quality content. Always try to write a blog post between 800 – 2000 words.

How to start making money quickly after starting a new blog?

So, how to make money quickly from a new blog? Well, if you ask me this question then I want to say the truth that this is not possible to make money quickly for a new blog to start making money. You obviously need to make the audience and readers for your blog fast.

If you want to start earning from organic search traffic, then you have to wait for 1 year.

Well, there are bloggers who start blogging and start making a good amount of money within 3 to 4 months with the help of Pinterest. But as you see, still it takes 3 to 4 months. But it is not sure if this opportunity will be available in the future or not.

But often success in blogging assumes to get a good amount of traffic from Google. Many bloggers don’t count Pinterest and other social media traffic. But in my opinion, Pinterest should be considered because it is not like Facebook or Instagram. They also have an algorithm just like search engines and can send you traffic for long terms. But it is upon you if you agree with me or not.

It looks like, in the near future, the competition will increase on Pinterest and it will be then harder to drive traffic than today.

But I can tell you what is the right way so that you don’t have to wait for years to make money from your blog.

The right way to avoid waiting years to make money from your new blog

Here are some way which will help you to avoid waiting for years to start earning from your new blog:

1. Choose a blog niche or topic. Never think to write on multi-topic or never think to write on everything. Search engines always give priority to those blogs which have a niche. So write only on one niche will help you to get organic search traffic.
2. Micro niche is able to rank quicker to rank on Google than a broad niche. So I recommend you start your blog in micro-niche.
   For example, if there is a blog in the technology niche and another one is in the artificial intelligence niche, then artificial intelligence is the microniche of the technology niche. If Google found an AI-related topic in both technology and AI niche, then Google most probably loves the topic from the AI niche rather than the technology niche.
3. Before starting writing content must setup your blog for SEO. setup all the useful SEO meta tags and all the other SEO codes. This is very important to do to get search traffic. Many newbies bloggers don’t know about SEO and they just start writing content without doing any SEO on their new blog. Thus it leads them towards failure.
4. Write content on your blog regularly. Search engine always like those blog sites which are adding new content in a regular basis. You will easily get more organic search traffic if you write a new blog post regularly.
5. Write quality content on your blog site. Each blog post should be within at least 500 words. And it is always good writing blog posts that are more than 700 words long. So try to write blog posts that are more than 700 words.
6. Do keyword research. During writing a blog post be careful about keywords. You can use Google AdWords keyword planner. You can also use SEMrush for improving your blog posts keywords.
7. Always write useful contents that peoples like to read and also like to spending on your site to read the useful contents of your blog.
8. Starts using Pinterest and share daily 10 to 20 Pins there. Pinterest is one of the quest ways to start getting lots of traffic than search engines.

These are the steps that you need to take so that you don’t have to wait for long time to make money from your new blog. Still it take almost about 7 – 8 month to start making money from a new blog. But it is really good rather than waiting for years. One thing you should always keep in your mind that you need passion. Even it take about 1 – 2 years for a blog to start making money, you still should wait with passion. If your blog is really perfect, then one day you must get success.
