In Namecheap you will get free privacy for one year but in GoDaddy you have to purchase it at $9 which is much expensive. Namecheap also offers SSLs at exclusively low rates as compared to Godaddy. You can buy your own Comodo SSL starting at just $9.99/year. SSLs at Godaddy starts from $69.99. So SSL is much expensive in case of GoDaddy.

An easy-to-use dashboard is one of the most attractive and demanded feature for any domain name registrar or hosting provider. The checkout process of Namecheap is extremely smooth, easy and seamless with a nice control panel. On the other hand, Godaddy provides a confusing checkout process and control panel may be problematic and complicated for the newbie users.

Though Namecheap have lesser customers than GoDaddy, but it doesn’t have a bad past and it successfully offers value-added services to the customers. On my end, Namecheap is the prominent winner for its amazing support, plans, user interface, nice and clean control panel and features.

Godaddy still needs to improve their pricing and customer support.
