To join AdThrive, you need to get at least 100k monthly traffic and on the other hand, Mediavine requires a minimum of 50000 monthly sessions. Surely, Mediavine needs a low amount of traffic than AdThrive.

Both of these ad networks required the majority of traffic from the United States as most of the advertisers they have from the US and willing to pay more for US ad impressions.

But this doesn’t tell anything about which one is better between these two ad networks. So I am here to give you a comparison between these two ad networks. In the end, I will also let you know my point of view about which one of these ad networks is better.

AdThrive vs Mediavine – Which one is better?

Well, it is not easy to compare AdThrive vs Mediavine and tell you which one is better. This is because sometimes one works better on a website and the other one performs better on another website or blog.

To understand it better, you need to use both AdThrive and Mediavine on the same website for at least a few months.

But also, there is a problem in doing so. This is because ad markets and demand are always changing and not the same all over the year. Also, there is a trend we can see in the past is that every year the ad budget increasing than the previous year. This scenario is observable in worldwide as well as in the United States.

But still, here I am going to give you an estimation after analyzing some bloggers.

It is found, in most of the cases that AdThrive ads pay more than Mediavine ads. The revenue increase after switching from Mediavine to AdThrive is 25% to 30%. This is a common scenario. But still, there are some exceptions we can see where Mediavine found paying slightly more than AdSense.

Well, not only the earnings, but we should also major some other factors for this AdThrive vs Mediavine comparison.

If we go through the requirements, then it is easier to start using Mediavine as it needs 50k monthly sessions. But in case of AdThrive, it needs at least 100k monthly pageviews. So if your blog is getting less than 100k pageviews and above 50k sessions, then Mediavine is going to work for you.

An amazing thing about AdThrive is that they claim that they will pay you even their advertiser doesn’t pay them which is an amazing thing. But I didn’t listen to anything like that on Mediavine.

If you would like to compare the ad loading speed, effect on page load speed then you don’t have to worry if you are using any one of these ad networks. This is because, both the Mediavine and AdThrive loads smooth and doesn’t impact much on page loading speed.

Both of these ad networks are trustworthy and have great advertisers around the United States.

In terms of payment, both these ad networks send you the payment on time. They take it seriously. But Mediavine pays on NET 65 basis where AdThrive pays on Net 45 basis.

Below are the listed payment methods of Mediavine:

  • Payoneer
  • PayPal
  • Wire Transfer
  • ACH

AdThrive payment methods are:

  • PayPal
  • Wire Transfer
  • Payoneer

Which one do I prefer?

Well, one of my blogs is getting over 300k monthly pageviews. But I am still not able to get accepted by any one of these ad networks. So I am using an alternative called Valueimpression and I am quite happy with this ad network.

But if you want to let me choose between AdThrive and Mediavine, then I would like to choose AdThrive. This is because, as I said that it is found for most of the bloggers, AdThrive pays more than Mediavine.

But this doesn’t mean that Mediavine is bad. Well, there are some bloggers already getting millions of traffic also stick with Mediavine because they found this ad network generating more revenue and working very well for their website.

I hope, this article helps you to understand AdThrive and Mediavine.
